Enrolling in Primary or Secondary

We warmly welcome you to attend our 2017 Open Days to get a first-hand experience of life, Stanhope style! Our Open Day for Primary this year will be held on Tuesday, 14th March commencing at 9.15 am and concluding at 10.30 am. Our Open Day for Secondary will be held on Wednesday, 15th March with tours commencing at 4.00 pm, 4.30 pm, 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm. All welcome - no registration or RSVP required.

The Catholic Learning Community of St John XXIII currently enrols students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Enrolments are considered at any time throughout the year, however, the main enrolment period for Kindergarten and Year 7 commences in February of the year prior to enrolment. Children whose 5th birthday occurs on or before 31st July are eligible for enrolment into Kindergarten the following year. Catholic schools have a strong religious dimension and people of other faiths who wish to enrol in Catholic schools are expected to participate in all religious activities at the College.

Our Enrolment Officer is available at any time to provide further information or to guide you through the enrolment process.

Step 2:

Expression of Interest Form

Families seeking enrolment at our Catholic Learning Community are requested to submit an Expression of Interest for Enrolment. This can be completed in persona at our College Reception or on-line below.

Current Year Enrolments: Families will be contacted once the Expression of Interest is submitted to discuss the next step in the enrolment process.

Kindergarten & Year 7 Enrolments: Expressions of Interest are to be submitted no later than 31st March of the year prior to the year of commencement. Families will be contacted in writing by the end of Term 1 to advise the next step in the enrolment process.

Please Note: An Expression of Interest is not required for Year 6 students currently attending John XXIII Catholic Primary School and Holy Cross Primary School. The College will contact these families directly.

Step 3:

Enrolment Application

Our Enrolment Committee reviews all Expressions of Interest in accordance with the Parramatta Diocesan Enrolment Guidelines and Procedures.

If we are able to consider your child for enrolment, you will be issued an Enrolment Application consisting of several sections which allows the College to best identify your child’s requirements and needs.

The completed Enrolment Application must be submitted in person, at the College Reception, together with all requested supporting documentation. Please be aware that we are unable to accept or process incomplete applications.

A non-refundable application fee of $50 is payable at the time of submitting your application.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee placement.

Step 4:

Enrolment Interview

All students seeking enrolment at our Catholic Learning Community are required to attend an interview. Once the Enrolment Application has been submitted, our Enrolment Officer will contact you to schedule an interview. The enrolling student and at least one parent/carer are required to attend.

Step 5:

Enrolment Acceptance

We will advise the outcome of your application in writing shortly after the interview.

If you receive a Letter of Offer, you are required to return the Enrolment Acceptance Form and pay the non-refundable Enrolment Deposit ($100 for Primary students and $300 for Secondary students) by the requested date to secure your position.
